Appearance
Choose how SuperTeacher looks. Match System follows your device's light/dark setting automatically. The quick-toggle in the topbar (☀/☾) overrides this until you change it again.
Students
Add a student here, or go to the full roster page to bulk-upload a class list from CSV, print scan labels, or withdraw students.
Email Preferences
Decide which emails SuperTeacher sends on your behalf.
Practice Sheet Defaults
How SuperTeacher generates and sends remediation practice sheets by default.
Per-Class Rules
Set the extras-suppression threshold (students at or above this score won't be offered a practice link) and toggle celebration emails for students whose trend is climbing.
Early-Warning Sensitivity
Slope thresholds (points lost per assignment) that mark a student as watch, concern, or urgent. Lower (more negative) = stricter trigger.
Don't flag students with fewer assignments than this.
School Calendar Feeds
Add the .ics calendar feeds for your school (academic, athletics, PTO…). Whatever you add is shared with every teacher at your school — they won't need to upload it again. Events power the break-countdown card in the ticker.
Add a calendar feed
Most school calendar pages have a "Subscribe" or iCal link — paste that URL here.
Pin Events for the Ticker
Pin the next break(s) you want the ticker to count down to. Pins are shared with every teacher at your school.
AI Grading Settings
Control how Claude grades short-answer and essay questions. Changes take effect on the next grading run.
Commute (Header Ticker)
Adds a live NJ Transit departure cell to the top ticker. Configure your origin station — the ticker polls for next departures every 60 seconds.
Use the public station name as it appears on njtransit.com. Spaces are okay.
File Storage Paths
Configure where uploaded files and exports are stored on the server.
Use absolute paths (e.g. /data/scans)
or relative paths from the application root.
Directories are created automatically if they don't exist.
Where student exam scan files are saved after upload.
Where blank test PDFs are saved for answer key generation.
Where CSV grade export files are written.
